Introducing Our Clear the List Contest for Teachers

Part of the How to Build a Teacher Wish List That Actually Gets Cleared guide for teachers.
What Is Clear the List?
Clear the List is a nationwide movement, started in 2019, built around one idea: teachers supporting teachers. Prodigy has always believed in giving back to educators in fun and meaningful ways.
This year, we're helping you stock up on the supplies your classroom needs most. Whether you're new to Prodigy or a longtime fan, this is your chance to win big and clear your classroom wishlist. From July 20 to September 11, 2026, we'll be giving away 5, $250 Amazon e-gift cards every day to lucky teachers. That's $50,000 in supplies for classrooms!
Here's how to enter the giveaway:
- Sign up for your free teacher account
- Create a classroom
- Add your students
The Problem We're Helping Solve
Every fall, teachers quietly reach into their own pockets to make their classrooms ready. Surveys put that spending between $500 and $900 a year on average, with AdoptAClassroom.org reporting $895 for 2024 to 2025. About 94% of public school teachers spend their own money on supplies.
Clear the List, the movement that began in 2019 as teachers supporting teachers, grew out of exactly this. We wanted to add to that spirit in a way that gives a little back. Prodigy has always been free and has always been here to support teachers, and this felt like a natural fit.
