No, the Lead Teacher role isn’t a salaried position. Engaged teachers can earn gift cards and Prodigy swag for classroom needs, plus access to professional development opportunities.
There’s no set time commitment—plan for about 15 minutes a month, with flexibility based on your schedule. You’ll get occasional communications with optional ways to stay involved, like professional development sessions, product demos, and chances to earn rewards. Your core focus is championing Prodigy math practice at your school.
Approval isn’t required. We do encourage you to let your principal know, as their support can help Prodigy grow in your school. If they want more details, you can lead them to our Administrators page.
We encourage you to join our Facebook Teacher Community to share tips and connect, but it isn’t required. If you’re not active on social, we can suggest other ways to advocate in your school or district in a way that works for you.
That’s okay! To remove yourself from the program, please email leadteacher@prodigygame.com.
